India: Hindustan Zinc’s production increases by 4% in FY’22

India-based Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited, has recorded 4% y-o-y growth in integrated saleable base metals production to 0.967 mnt in FY’22, supported by better concentrate availability. Production of refined zinc increased by 8% while that of refined lead dropped by 11% on y-o-y basis, company data shows.
