- Prices of copper primary CC wire rods (CCR) fell by INR 5,000/t ($66/t), while prices of domestic copper secondary CC wire rods decreased by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) today as against 1-Apr’22.
- The effective price of primary CC wire rods stands at INR 840,000/t ($11,122/t) and secondary CC wire rods (CCR) prices are at INR 788,000/t ($10,434/t) ex-Delhi, although armature scrap prices were reported as stable.
- Resurgence of Covid-19 in crucial Chinese province led production cut and lower demand of copper. The impact was also seen in SHFE & MCX future prices.
