Induction furnace rebar prices increased in the range of INR 100-700/t in most markets today, while in a few markets in eastern India such as Rourkela and in the central region such as Raigarh prices surged 1,500/t. Sharp rise in raw material prices resulted in manufacturers raising rebar offers. Moderate buying enquiries as well as higher trade volumes were witnessed today unlike in the last few days.
