NMDC had conducted an iron ore e-auction on 29 Mar’22 from its Kumaraswamy mines at which 110,000 t of material was booked out of a total of 303,000 t. Highlights:
- JSW Steel emerged as the largest buyer at 60,000 t, followed by Electrosteel Castings Ltd at 28,000 t.
- The iron ore lump (Fe 61.21%) lot was booked at INR 3,730/t (basic, taxes extra).
