India: Stainless steel scrap prices increase by INR 13,000/t ($172/t)

Prices of domestic stainless steel grade 316 scrap increased by INR 13,000/t ($172/t) today as against 29 Mar’22 , as per market sources.
The effective price for stainless steel grade 316 scrap stands at INR 269,000/t ($3,551/t) and for grade 304 scrap the price is INR 189,000/t ($2,495/t) exy-Delhi.
Increasing prices on the LME, tight scrap supply and strong demand turned market sentiments bullish.
