Export deals for around seven rakes (about 15,000 t) of IF-route billets were heard concluded for Nepal at an average price of around $750/t loaded to wagon from eastern India, equivalent to $775/t CPT Nepal. Billets supplies by local manufacturers remain constrained due to the electricity crisis trigerring large-scale purchases from Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha by buyers in Nepal, sources informed SteelMint.
