Melting scrap prices witnessed slight variations across regions on 30 Mar’22. In the northern region, scrap prices went down by INR 300, especially in the Mandi gobingarh market, tracking semi-finished steel prices. While in Maharashtra, prices saw a marginal correction. Meanwhile, in south India, prices remained stable d-o-d on regular procurement, SteelMint notes.
