Australia begins first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on rebar imports

The Australian Anti-dumping Commission on 28 Mar’22 began an anti-dumping sunset review investigation on steel rebar imports from Greece, Indonesia, Spain, Thailand and Taiwan, with the investigation period from 1 Jan-31 Dec’21. In Jun’17, the Commission had initiated anti-dumping proceedings against steel bars imported from the said countries and in Mar’18 Australia decided to impose five-year anti-dumping duties on rebar imports from these countries.
