State-run Coal India Ltd (CIL) has registered its highest-ever coal production in FY’22. The company produced a total of 611.9 mnt of coal till 27 Mar’22, breaking its previous record of 606.9 mnt of production attained in FY’19. Till date, the average production in March has been recorded at 2.57 mnt/day, slightly lower compared with 2.62 mnt/day in Mar’21.
