MMTC Ltd. has issued a tender for supply to its NINL (Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd) plant based in Odisha, for the purchase of 1,000 MT of High Carbon Silico Manganese Lumps of Specifications – Mn (60-62%), Silica (15%min), Phosphorus (0.3-0.35%), Carbon (2%) and 500 MT of High Carbon Ferro Manganese Lumps of Specifications – Mn (70-72%),Carbon(6-8%), Phosphorus (0.35-0.4%).
Both the tenders will close on 22 April, 2013 at 1 p.m.
Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) has set up an Integrated 1.1 million ton capacity Iron and Steel Plant at Jajpur, Orissa. The steel making facility will be producing Billets through the Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF)route. The above mentioned tender is to cater to the need of this NINL plant.
Current offers for Silico Manganese 60/15 are in the range of Rs. 54,000 – 55,000 / MT, whereas, the price for Ferro Manganese (70% Mn) is Rs. 55,000 / MT. Prices mentioned are Basic.
