Vedanta (FACOR) held an auction for ferro chrome on 24 Mar’22. The bigger lot in the auction was concluded at an H1 price of INR 124,300/t ex-Jajpur, Odisha. Tepid demand for ferro chrome resulted in the lack of participation in the auction, sources informed. Domestic ferro chrome prices are likely to edge lower after this auction, SteelMint notes.
