Mongolia: Coal production drops, exports rise in Feb’22

Mongolia’s coal production fell by 22% m-o-m to 1.59 mnt in Feb’22, as per CoalMint data. On a yearly basis, the output slumped by 62%. However, exports in Feb’22 were recorded at 0.67 mnt, up 8% m-o-m. The shipments rose on account of increased imports from China by 9% m-o-m.
