Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan stood at RMB 4,720/t ($743/t) on 21 Mar’22, inclusive of 13% VAT. According to the data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for May delivery closed today at RMB 4,923/t ($774/t), witnessing a fall of RMB 30/t ($5/t) as against the closing on 18 March.
