Induction furnace rebar prices increased sharply in the spot market today, although buying enquiries varied across regions, remaining mostly limited due to current high prices which discouraged bulk procurement. Nevertheless, rebar prices remained supported on high sponge iron and billet prices. Suppliers were heard offering tradable discounts, as per sources.
