SAIL held four different auctions for 3,450 tonnes (t) of steel grade pig iron on 16 Mar’22.
- 1,000 t of pig iron was booked at INR 56,435/t exw from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP)
- 2,000 t was booked at INR 58,650/t exw from the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL)
- Another 150 t of pig iron booked at INR 55,600/t exw from BSL
- 300 t was booked at INR 56,050/t exw from the IISCO plant in West Bengal
