At OMC’s chrome ore auction today, around 25% of the total quantity of 48,000 t was booked at the base price. The auction received moderate response as buyers refrained from booking the material due to high base price. Meanwhile, South African UG2 chrome ore (Conc 40-42%) prices are assessed at around $225/t (INR 17,139/t) CIF China.
