Billet production in mills located at the OP Jindal Industrial Park in Punjipathra, Raigarh, got affected due to power cut by Jindal, the only power supplier to the industries in the region. The furnaces may receive 60% power supply for four-five days due to a boiler tube leakage in the power plant. There are about 45 furnaces in Punjipathra with an average daily production of about 5,000 t of ingots/billets per day.
