Portside trading activity of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal remained weak as higher offers discouraged buyers including sponge iron makers from making any major purchases. RB2 offers stand at INR 25,000-26,000/t at Gangavaram Port. The ongoing tension between Russia and Ukraine continues to keep RB1 (6000 NAR) grade prices at $376/t, FOB basis as on 11 Mar’22.
