South Korea’s coking coal imports fall to 1-year low in Feb’22

South Korea imported 1.26 mnt of coking coal in Feb’22, down 29% m-o-m, hitting one-year low, as per data maintained by CoalMint. Shipments from Australia fell by 37% m-o-m while from Mozambique, Indonesia and US were recorded to be nil. The fall came amid higher coking coal prices in Feb’22 due to the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
