- Around 32,000 t of US-origin bulk scrap cargo comprising HMS (80:20) material was booked recently for Apr’22 shipment. Buyers confirmation could not be received till the time of publishing this report.
- The deal price was heard at $710/t CFR Chittagong. Prices rose by $110/t last week after Turkey imported scrap prices surged to all-time high amidst global trade tensions.
- The country imported 0.23 million tonnes (mnt) of bulk scrap in Feb’22, stable m-o-m.
