South Korea: Scrap imports rise by over 15%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

South Korea’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 0.37 mnt in Feb’22, an increase of 19% as against 0.31 mnt in Jan.
On a yearly basis, imports jumped 9% from 0.34 mnt in Feb’21.
Japan remained the largest supplier of scrap with 0.30 mnt followed by Russia and the USA with 41,061 t and 9,280 t, respectively.
