An Iranian steel mill has concluded an export deal for 40,000 t of steel slabs at around $700-710/t FOB and the shipment is scheduled for end-April, sources informed SteelMint. Iran’s slab export prices have risen sharply by around $140-150/t compared to the last-concluded tender towards end-Jan’22. Hike in global HRC prices led to the rise in slab export prices, SteelMint understands.
