India: Patra prices plunge by INR 3,600/t in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

HR strip (patra) prices decreased by INR 3,600/t in Raipur while prices inched down by INR 1,800/t in Mandi Gobindgarh markets respectively owing to subdued sales on 12 Mar’22, as per SteelMint reports. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 60,000/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, prices are assessed at INR 64,500/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 61,000/t last week – lower by INR 1,000/t w-o-w. Prices exclude GST.
