South Korea: Flat steel exports drop 16%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

South Korea’s flat steel exports stood at 1.69 mnt in Feb’22, down 16% against 2 mnt in Jan, SteelMint data shows. Major importing countries during the month were China at 0.23 mnt and the USA and Japan at 0.18 mnt.

The most-traded product was HRC/plates at 0.55 mnt, followed by galvanised steel and CRC at 0.52 mnt and 0.30 mnt respectively in Feb.
