Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 40/t ($6/t) on 10 Mar’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,720/t ($746/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for May’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,896/t ($774/t), witnessing a marginal fall of RMB 11/t ($2/t), d-o-d.
