Australian premium hard coking coal prices were assessed at $650/t FOB on 10 Mar’22, down $10/t d-o-d. Prices fell amid the decline in fresh spot transactions amid buyer resistance due to high prices. However, the price of US High Vol A has increased by $20/t d-o-d to $500/t amid buoyant Australian coal prices and strong demand.
