Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices rise on strong demand

Iran’s domestic billet and rebar prices rose sharply on strong demand due to the ongoing geopolitical conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the country’s rising export prices, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices rose sharply by 2,300 Rial/Kg to 154,000 Rial/Kg compared with 7 Mar.
• Rebar prices stood at 168,000 Rial/Kg on 9 Mar, a sharp rise of 3,000 Rial/Kg.
