India: Hindalco, Balco lower aluminium ingots prices by INR 40,500/t ($527/t)

Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) and Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) decreased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 40,500/t ($527/t) on 9 Mar’22, as per company sources.
Hindalco’s effective price stands at INR 307,250/t ($4,001/t). Balco’s price is at INR 310,000/t ($4,037/t).
Prices have started decreasing on the back of LME aluminium futures which have started slowing down w-o-w.
