Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel, conducted an auction on 8 Mar’22 for 1,200 t of basic grade pig iron. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 54,400/t exw, sources informed. Bid prices increased by INR 2,700/t in comparison with the previous auction on 5 Feb.
