India: Sponge iron offers rise slightly in Bellary, Karnataka

Pellet-based sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 150/t on 8 Mar’22, However, CDRI prices continued to stay flat in today’s trade, as per SteelMint reports.

• 1,300 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 41,500/t exw.
• SteelMint’s assessment for CDRI stands at INR 42,200/t ($548) and around 500 t of deals were reported.
• Mill owners continue to keep prices firm with sufficient orders in hand.
