Australian premium hard coking coal prices were recorded at $616/t FOB on 7 Mar’22, up $55/t as against 5 Mar’22. US High Vol A prices are at $470/t, up by $30/t. The Russia-Ukraine conflict and western sanctions on Russia are supporting prices. In addition, supplies have been affected due to heavy rains in Queensland further boosting prices.
