India: JSPL hikes long steel prices further by up to INR 5,000/t ($65/t)

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has again raised prices for rebars by INR 5,000/t ($65/t) and wire rods by INR 4,000/t ($52/t) for Mar’22 deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices:

• Rebar (12-32mm): INR 73,500-74,000/t ($957-963/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6mm): INR 73,000-73,500/t ($950-957/t)

These prices are on delivered-Delhi basis, exclusive of 18% GST.
