SAIL held an auction for 1,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 07 Mar’22 from its IISCO plant in West Bengal. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 56,200/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 9,600/t compared with the previous auction on 23 Feb in which 250 t material sold at a weighted average price of INR 46,600/t exw.
