China’s steel inventory rises marginally on week to 16.6 mnt

China’s steel inventory, including steel sheets and construction steel, increased marginally by 1% to 16.6 mnt today compared to 16.43 mnt last week, Lange Steel reports.

• Steel sheet stocks, comprising HRC, CRC and plates, edged down by 2% to 5.35 mnt as against 5.46 mnt a week ago.
• Construction steel stocks, including rebar and wire rods, increased 3% to 11.25 mnt compared to 10.97 in the previous week.
