- Containerised imported scrap trades to Bangladesh continued to remain active, sources informed SteelMint. Prices have risen by $20-25/t in the last two days.
- In the recent round of deals, 2,000 t of HMS1 scrap of Brazil-origin was booked at $580/t on CFR Bangladesh basis.
- Around 1,000 t of Africa-origin HMS (90:10) scrap in containers was booked at $570-575/t CFR Bangladesh.
