India: ESL Steel hikes long steel prices by INR 2,500/t ($33/t)

Vedanta subsidiary ESL Steel has again revised long steel prices by INR 2,500/t ($33/t) for Mar’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices:

• Rebar (IS 1786, Fe 500D): INR 68,000-68,500/t ($893-899/t)
• Wire rods (SAE 1008): INR 66,000-66,500/t ($867-873/t)
• These prices are on exy-Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%.
