A major producer sold 1,250 t of ferro chrome (HC60%, 10-70mm) yesterday to domestic steelmakers at INR 115,000/t exw Jajpur. The deal price edged higher than SteelMint’s last assessment price of INR 112,000/t exw. Ferro chrome producers are optimistic amidst reduced production in the country and rising demand from Europe and Japan.
