- A Bokaro, Jharkhand-based private mill conducted an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 3 Mar’22. The auction was concluded at around INR 53,850-900/t ex-plant. The bids rose by INR 4,000/t as compared to the previous auction on 28 Feb, which was concluded at around INR 49,800/t ex-plant.
- The private plants in Durgapur also raised offers to INR 53,500-53,800/t exw, with rise in coal prices and limited supply.
