Aluminium scrap prices surged following the rise in LME futures which have touched a multi-year high level, as per SteelMint reports. However, both buyers and sellers remained cautious. A few specific sellers said that tight supply has pushed domestic prices higher but transactions are yet to pick up. Prices for alumininum tense scrap stand at INR 175,000/t exw Delhi, excluding GST.
