HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 1,200/t in Raipur d-o-d and by INR 1,400/t in Mandi Gobindgarh on 3 Mar’22 backed by rising domestic demand. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) stand at INR 59,000/t exw-Raipur and INR 58,900/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh. SteelMint reported patra prices in Raipur at INR 53,000/t and INR 54,500/t in Mandi last week excluding GST.
