Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur increased offers by INR 2,600/t to INR 61,000/t exw on the back of moderate trade and transactions and higher raw material costs in the spot market. However, purchases are limited at current prices as buyers adopted the wait-and-watch policy due to higher prices. Trade discounts by suppliers are at INR 500-700/t, SteelMint learned.
