On 3 Mar’22, Australian premium HCC FOB prices were recorded at $475/t, up $18/t d-o-d. Meanwhile, Australian low-volatile PCI coal prices were assessed at $400/t, up $20/t d-o-d. Prices rose because of strong buying interest amidst the absence of Russian material. The supply from Australia remained disrupted due to heavy rainfall in the mining region of Queensland in the past few days.
