Steel major JSW Steel has lifted rebar prices by INR 3,750/t ($49/t) for Mar’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Post-revision, the effective price stands at around INR 66,000-66,500/t ($872-879/t) FOR Mumbai and northern India basis, excluding GST at 18%. Strong domestic demand along with elevated costs of raw materials (such as iron ore and coal) have led to the price hike.
