Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports rise by over 15%, m-o-m, in Jan’22

Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 0.13 mnt in Jan’22, a rise of 18% m-o-m as against 0.11 mnt in Dec.
Australia was the largest supplier with 14,199 t, followed by the USA and Venezuela with 13,587 t and 13,195 t, respectively.
The country’s scrap imports remained stable y-o-y as against 0.13 mnt in Jan’21.
