India: ERW pipe prices rise on high input costs

ERW patra pipe prices surged INR 2,200/t in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, today owing to the hike in raw material prices. Current offers for base grade ERW pipe (41-60 OD) are assessed at INR 57,500/t exw Raipur, while prices are assessed at INR 58,400/t exw Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, up INR 1,700/t d-o-d. SteelMint reported pipe prices in Raipur at INR 52,500/t last week – higher by INR 5,000/t w-o-w. Prices exclude GST.
