Ukraine: Manganese alloys production rises by over 18% y-o-y in CY’21

Ukraine, the third-largest producer of silico manganese, saw a rise in production by 18.4% y-o-y to 0.66 mnt in CY’21, according to customs data. The country’s ferro manganese output was up by 18.2% to 0.10 mnt. The rise in manganese alloys production is a result of its high prices and active buying interest mainly from European countries (0.27 mnt) and Turkey (0.13 mnt) in CY’21.
