India: Tata Metaliks hikes pig iron prices by up to INR 1,800/t ($24)

Tata Metaliks has raised basic grade pig iron prices by INR 1,300/t ($17/t) and foundry grade prices by INR 1,800/t.
Offers for foundry grade stand at INR 52,000/t while those for basic grade are at INR 49,500/t. Prices are applicable for Kolkata and Howrah.
Rising steel and higher coke and coal prices led to the INR 2,000/t, w-o-w, surge in offers by the private plants.
