China: Steel inventory increases w-o-w to 16.43 mnt

China’s steel inventory, including steel sheets and construction steel, increased 4% to 16.43 mnt this week compared to 15.82 mnt a week ago, reports Lange Steel.

• Steel sheet stocks, comprising HRC, CRC and plates, dropped slightly by 1% to 5.46 mnt against 5.53 mnt a week ago.
• Construction steel stocks, including rebar and wire rods, rose 7% to 10.97 mnt compared to 10.29 mnt last week.
