Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, opened prices at INR 55,500/t exw today, stable d-o-d. Prices remain supported on active trades due to the sharp rise in billet prices and are hovering at high levels in the spot market. However, trade discounts offered by the suppliers are at around INR 700-900/t, sources informed.
