Steel inventory at key Chinese mills rise slightly in mid-Feb – CISA

In mid-Feb’22, steel inventory at China’s mills was 16.90 mnt, an increase of 49,500 t from the previous month and 3.22 mnt, or 23.54%, higher compared with the end of Jan, data from China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) show. In the first 10 days of Feb, inventory increased by 5.60 mnt from the beginning of the year, although it decreased by 643,800 t compared with the year-ago period.
